Questions & Answers

1. Do these Orthopedic Shoes accommodate custom insoles?

Absolutely! Our orthopedic walking shoes are designed to accommodate custom insoles. With a deep instep, you can insert your own custom insoles with ease, giving you the flexibility to choose the support that's right for you.

But don't worry, we've also got you covered with our included insoles, made with Ortholite material for breathability, sweat absorption, and odor resistance. They're designed to cushion and protect your joints, with a U-shaped heel structure and arch support to relieve pressure and discomfort. This means you can enjoy comfort and support right out of the box!

2. What foot conditions can benefit from wearing Cloud Wanderer?

With extra wide widths, robust arch support and advanced cushioning, FitVille's Cloud Wanderers are designed to alleviate a range of foot conditions, including:

Toe issues: bunions, hammertoes, gout, arthritis, corns

Heel problems: plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, Achilles Tendonitis

Neuropathy, Lymphedema

A 5cm sole packs serious benefits for your feet. It provides extra cushioning to absorb shock and ease pressure, making it ideal for conditions like plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. With built-in arch support, it helps correct foot alignment, reducing pain from flat feet or high arches. Plus, the wide platform improves stability and balance, keeping you steady on your feet and reducing the risk of strain. It's comfort, support, and style all in one!

3. Why it’s essential for orthopedic shoes to prevent pronation and flat feet?

Pronation affects an estimated 60-70% of the population, with a higher prevalence among individuals with a larger weight. This can lead to falls, ankle sprains, and foot conditions due to uneven pressure distribution.

The rigid heel counter and U-shaped heel cup work together to secure the heel, preventing inward or outward leaning. With each step, the heel cup provides gentle cushioning, which is crucial as our heel pad thins with age and our heel absorbs more shock. This additional cushioning is essential for pain-relief, preventing uneven pressure distribution and help managing foot conditions in the long run.

I'm very happy with my Fitville shoes!

It's such a relief to find some shoes that are truly wide-fitting (and in three possible sizes). Other firms say that theirs are wide, but in truth they are not - or only very slightly. Before finding Fitville I thought I would have to have some shoes especially made which would have been very expensive, but not now. Thank you so much Fitville - my toes are liberated at last!!

The bounce

My first pair of Fitville trainers. After being quite impressed with Skechers and subsequently buying/wearing them quite happily over a number of years now, for some strange reason I decided to give Fitville a go. All I can say is they’re better again. The wider toe box is surprising insofar as I wasn’t really aware of how constrained my feet actually were until I actively compared between Fitville and pretty much every other pair of shoes, boots and trainers I currently own. When I took delivery of the Cloud Strider V3 I thought whoa, these look big, but no, with the insoles I also purchased they are a perfect fit. The title of my review is “the Bounce” which is another surprising feature and again very welcome, they appear to bounce along when I’m walking, certainly difficult to explain but definitely beneficial from my personal perspective. All of the above added to the lightness of the shoes make me feel as though I could walk all day with minimal effort. The price wasn’t too shabby either. Personally speaking I can’t find fault and only wish I’d found them years ago. I’d say I’m now a convert to Fitville and have been spreading the gospel to family and friends, my wife has already bought a pair and is equally impressed so it looks like another convert. Try a pair, go the whole hog and include the insole I doubt very much you’ll be disappointed.
